Bald Eagle

I have been working on the oil painting off and on for a long time.

Not because its a complicated painting or because of it size. Originally it started out

as a painting just for me. I'm not sure I have ever done one of those. I finished it today. This pic is from yesterday almost done except for a few last details.

The funny thing is that my eight year old son has decided that is his. Ha ha, guess I took to long to finish it.

For this bear painting I wanted you to feel that the bear was a force of nature.

 As indomitable and timeless as the land it's self. I used

both dry brush and wet into wet watercolor techniques.
